Holly-Hunter
Holly Hunter is an American producer and actress who has been recognized for her highly commendable performances in films like Broadcast News The Firm The Piano and The Incredibles. She won several awards including an Oscar for the movie Piano. She began her career as an actress on Broadway as well as Off Broadway. Since her childhood she's always been very passionate about acting. The role she played was Helen Keller as a fifth-grade student in the school's play. Mumps caused her to be blind and deaf in the one ear, but she did not allow this to stop her from becoming an actress. She studied theater in college after which she moved in New York City in pursuit of her dreams. A chance meeting led her to got stuck in an elevator together with writer Beth Henley and the two were a team in Broadway Crimes of the Heart that became Hunter's debut. In the years following her move from New York to Los Angeles, Hunter tried for movie roles. A role in the supporting part was found for her in Swing Shift. The actress has appeared in many films, TV series and movies over the course of her career. Holly Hunter has a Hollywood Walk of Fame celebrity as well as the Women in Film Lucy Award.
